Rafael Lozano ’01
Rafael is a director of admissions and financial aid, and a 2001 graduate of Carthage. He completed a double-major in Business Administration and Spanish. Rafael is both an English and a Spanish-speaking admissions representative and would love to chat with any families who prefer to converse in Spanish.

What do you value most about working at Carthage?
“Having the ability to show off our beautiful, ideally-located campus.”
Hobbies:
“When time allows for it, I like to stay active by disc golfing, playing some softball and most of all, spending time with family and friends.”

“Homecoming is always the best, being able to see all the faces of past, present and future students.”

“The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Friends are just a few of the shows I enjoy watching.”

What are your recommendations for people new to Kenosha?
“The abundance of restaurants. Beyond the many chain restaurants, there are some excellent family-owned mom-and-pop type places with great food.”
Favorite place to eat in Kenosha:
“Visit multiple schools to see what you like and what you don’t. You’ll have a better idea of what school is a good fit for you by having some comparisons.”
